If one wants to truly learn from their actions, then they must have a discipline of personal relfection. This can often be easily confused with over-thinking things, but is more of a thoughtful process in which one looks back on previous actions in order to learn from them. Then, one can become even better by learning from the past. As a social studies teacher, this is one of the ultimate goals of my classroom. Thus, I must model personal reflection as I attempt to be the best possible version of myself, learning from my past and using it to get closer to my goals today.
